UCA News

The UCA was originally formed in 1987 in the state of Missouri as a not for profit corporation to promote the healing modality of acupuncture for the benefit of acupuncture practitioners. The association was named the Acupuncture International Association.

After struggling with direction and participation, the association was renamed as the United Consumer Awareness Association (UCAA) at the turn of the century and subsequently began a membership movement commitment towards greater awareness and savings on articles of consumption that affected our planet.

In 2009, the focus shifted to a much more important awareness that affects our overall well-being. It became clear that the consumption of ideas and thought forms from societal conditioning through media and group consciousness impacts our daily lives and the way we feel more than any product or service. Unfortunately, much of it is negative, depressing and far from inspiring or encouraging. At that time, a real emphasis and commitment was made to support members with large doses of positivity. The advent of a Positive News Network brought members only positive news stories from around the world as well as information and education to support a more positive, healthier and happier member, family, community and world.

In 2010 the association began the first phase of action for members to change the world when it committed to pursue ways and means for developing happiness. Membership also grew with the advent of memberships that included insurance and other types of savings and services benefits, marketed externally by licensed agents.

In 2011 our goal was to share as much information and programs to enhance the life of members in a healthier and happier way. The association began the development of a new array of information and programs.

In May 2012, the association committed to a new name -- Unified Caring Association (UCA) --  to reflect the work and commitment of present day. The expanded mission of the association is dedicated to helping members live a healthier and happier life. We put our caring into action.

As long as we are alive, we have the opportunity each day to write our own beautiful story. UCA members are encouraged to rewrite their story and become aware of their internal programs. This is the way to find our path to happiness and the path to caring is sharing this happiness.

UCA is in action on an inspired mission to feed members with love and in so doing, make a positive difference in our world. We would love to pamper you and invite you to become Unified in Caring with us!
