Community Needs Across the World and in Our Own Back Yard
Caring knows no bounds when there is an opportunity to help. Your Association sponsored the publication of an Annual Donor Impact mailing on behalf of a global non-profit that saves lives through innovation and self-empowerment of recipients. We also participated in a Rotary International Project to provide passive irrigation for sustainable agriculture to supplement food shortages in Africa. This creates a life-saving method of sustenance in the event of a drought or other environmental challenge that plagues the people and animals of the continent.
Basic necessities are an important component in the thriving of families in any community. When local Community Resource Centers reached out to ask for help for new mothers with babies, we went right to work and happily provided thousands of diapers and baby wipes to fulfill their needs. Please consider contacting your local Community Center to see if you can help with supporting some of the needs of your community.
