UCA Continues Supporting Emotional Intelligence for Vulnerable Children Across the USA

Many children today do not experience the traditional structure of family life due to economic and other challenging hardships.  Instability, food deprivation, and homelessness have left these children feeling displaced, vulnerable, and depressed.   As the welfare of children has always been a priority, UCA partnered with Feed the Children’s Outreach Program, providing 5,000 sets of emotional intelligence tools to support the emotional healing of children across the nation.  These tools provide children with social and emotional support; empowering them to self-express and recognize their full potential.

UCA sponsored an additional 5,000 emotional intelligence tools that were distributed to several other organizations working with children in crisis such as foster programs– trafficking victims – children’s hospitals – as well as community programs that accommodate children dealing with abuse issues and homelessness.
